Document Description
Approval of Minor Alteration No. WA2026034, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: At sites 1, 2, 3, 5, 6.0, and 6.1, the scope of work includes reestablishment of levee slopes and subgrade at the pipe outlet on the waterside; installing a rock mat and placing precast headwall assembly; implementing pipe extension with applicable hardware; backfilling behind headwall assembly and placing 6-inch or less diameter riprap at the ends of the wingwalls; and reseeding temporarily disturbed areas with native erosion control seed mix. The proposed work at sites 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2 includes doweling into the existing concrete headwall and concrete slab to form and cast in place headwall/wingwalls up to the height of the levee toe road; backfilling behind headwall assembly and placing 6-inch or less diameter riprap at the ends of the wingwalls; and reseeding all temporarily disturbed areas with typical native erosion control seeds mix. Sites 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 5, 6.0, and 6.1 will require dewatering. The work will also rehabilitate the levee toe road. All work including excavation and backfill will be performed in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Waters, Division 1 (Title 23) standards.
