Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SAC-63545-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Teichert Materials. The project is limited to the construction of a crossing at Elder Creek to allow for the extension of an existing electric conveyor belt system over the channel to transport aggregate materials from the Aspen IX expansion area to connect to an existing conveyor in the Aspen IX area, from which the material would be transported to Teichert’s Perkins processing facility. This crossing is part of a planned expansion of the mining of aggregate material (sand and gravel) to unmined areas adjacent to the approved Aspen mine site in the northwest corner of Aspen VIII and south of Elder Creek in the Aspen IX area.
