Document Description
Project involves removing arundo and other invasive plants such as eucalyptus, tree of heaven, tamarisk, thistles, and perennial pepperweed from the Putah Creek corridor from the city of Winters to the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area using integrated pest management practices including manual, mechanical, and chemical treatments. Native plants will be installed at two restoration sites - the Yolo County Housing Authority property commonly known as El Rio Villa and the Russell Ranch unit of UC Davis' Putah Creek Riparian Reserve. Native plants will be irrigated using above ground temporary irrigation lines or hand watering. WCB Project Tracking ID: 2024031.
