Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed California Endangered Species Act Incidental Take Permit No. 2081-2023-061-02, pursuant to section 2081(b) of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the City of Sacramento.
The project involves the construction of a new bridge over the Sacramento River between the cities of Sacramento and West Sacramento to replace the vehicle crossing that is currently provided by the existing I Street Bridge located just south. The new bridge will cross the Sacramento River between the Sacramento Railyards at Railyards Boulevard and the West Sacramento Washington planned developments at C Street and provide a new bicycle, pedestrian, and automobile crossing. The structure will be a movable bridge (vertical lift) that satisfies the vertical clearance and river navigation requirements.
