Document Description
The project would replace the two-lane vehicle crossing (that is currently accommodated by the existing I Street Bridge) with a two-lane bridge on a new alignment. The new bridge would be 860 feet long with a 330-foot-long vertical lift movable bridge center span. The new bridge would have Class II buffered bicycle lanes and sidewalks on both sides. The project includes partial or full removal of five bridge approaches.
