Document Description
CRC is proposing drill new well 13SEY-35S and install the associated facilities (pipelines and 4 power poles). The proposed well location is located on an existing well pad and will not result in any new disturbance. No protected or sensitive species were detected within the well pad project boundary or the associated 500-ft survey buffer. The power poles will also be located on previously disturbed surfaces. The existing sump exhibited regrowth of Atriplex sp. and non-native grasses, which will need to be graded prior to drilling activities. The production line is ~ 1,700-ft long and
the gas line is ~700-ft long and both follow existing pipeline corridors and dirt roads. Three road crossings will be required to install the pipelines. The surrounding area is characterized by existing well pads and pipelines that are interspersed with non-native grassland and valley salt scrub habitats. Per the EHOF ITP, a biological monitor is required for all vegetation removal, ground disturbing activities, and off-road travel, should it occur. All drilling and construction activities will be confined to the disturbed location/approved project areas, no parking or staging of equipment in habitat.
