CRC proposes to drill new production well 86SY-28S, pipeline and power line utilizing existing access. CRC plans to drill new well 86SY-28S (35.285335°, -119.396303°) on a previously disturbed well pad location, with a flowline and service pole. The well pad exhibited approximately 0.10 acres of regrowth that will be cleared prior to drilling
operations. The surrounding area is characterized by existing well pads, roads, and pipelines that are interspersed with non-native grassland and valley saltbush scrub habitats. One dry ephemeral drainage within the survey buffer will be avoided and will not be impacted by project activities. No sensitive or listed species were observed during the pre-activity survey. Per the EHOF ITP, a biological monitor must be present for any vegetation removal activities. All drilling activities will be confined to the well pad, no parking or staging of equipment in habitat.
