Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement ([EPIMS-MEN-50465-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Joe Scriven, representing the Mendocino Resource Conservation District. This Agreement relies on the Notification materials, a CDFW site visit on March 12, 2025, and correspondence with the Permittee and their representatives. The Project is limited to three encroachments to decommission existing stream crossings with 2:1 sideslopes and established channel widths that meet or exceed the natural channel widths upstream of the crossing. A temporary crossing using 6-feet wide by 10-feet long steel trench plates will be installed at SC #3 (latitude 39.14113 N, longitude 123.64994 W) to provide heavy equipment and truck access to SC #1 and SC #2. The trench plates will span the incised channel segment at the narrowest feasible section with minimal disturbance to the top of the streambanks to provide a temporary bridge surface. The temporary crossing shall be removed when all work downstream of SC #3 is completed.
