Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-61069-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Lake County Department of Public Works. The project is limited to the widening of the existing roads paved area from 24 feet to 52 feet to add a center tuning lane and bicycle lane. This activity will include alterations to seven culverts: extending one 6 foot by 2 foot reinforced concrete box culvert (RCB) and one 6 foot by 2.5-foot RCB; replacing one 12 inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and one 24 inch diameter RCP; replacing and extending one 12 foot by 4.5 foot RCB and one 18 inch diameter RCP; and relocating one 6 foot by 3 foot RCB. The installation of inlet and outlet end treatments (flared end sections or rock slope protection) and installation or replacement of drainage inlets and concrete headwalls. The project also involves vegetation removal, including the removal of 21 mature riparian trees, infilling existing roadside drainages, establishing new stormwater drainages, and grading for an increase of 3.04 acres of impervious surface along the 1.3 mile long project area.
