Document Description
A request by Kirk Consulting to amend Minor Use Permit DRC2009-00056 to allow the continued operation of temporary events for another 20-year period. The applicant is also requesting to increase the maximum number of events from 20 to 35 annually with a maximum of 150 attendee’s annually and maintain the ability to convert an existing barn into assembly occupancy (for events indoor) and obtain a building permit for the existing restrooms. The temporary event space consists of 12,500 square foot event lawn area, 702 square foot restroom and storage building, 1000 square foot Barbeque Trellis area, 1,200 square foot patio with trellis, and 24,000 square feet of event parking. The applicant is requesting both outdoor and indoor events. The parcel is located within the Agriculture Land use Category in the El Pomar Estrella Sub Area of the North County Planning Area, approximately 5 miles southeast from the San Miguel Village Reserve Line. The proposed project is located at 5735 Von Dollen Rd.
