Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 20026, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To install a total of nine (9) utility poles and overhead communication lines along and across the Garden Highway levee. Eight (8) poles will be installed on the waterside slope of the levee, and one pole will be located approximately 70 feet from the existing landside levee toe. The overhead communication lines will cross from the landside to the waterside at Orchard Lane and will continue along the poles on the waterside. All poles will be wood, ranging in height from 35 to 40 feet, and set to a depth of 6 feet below the existing grade. The communication lines on the waterside will also be attached to three (3) existing Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) utility poles authorized under Board Permit Nos. 19637 and 19735, issued on April 20, 2022, and July 10, 2023, respectively.
