Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 2395-1, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To remove an existing SMUD pole, upgrade another pole, and remove the overhead electric lines authorized under Board Permit No. 2395, issued to SMUD on September 20, 1956.
The project also includes remounting the overhead lines that cross the Natomas East Main Drainage Canal (NEMDC) right bank levee onto the new pole located outside the levee prism. The overhead electric line operates at 12,000 volts with a clearance of 39 feet above the levee. This utility work is associated with Natomas Basin Civil Works Project, Reach F.
