Approval of Permit No. 19976, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To remove and replace 15 existing steel streetlight poles (Caltrans Type 15; 8-in diameter, 34-ft length, 5-ft embedment depth) along the landside edge of levee crown on Garden Highway (5-ft from edge of pavement) from Gateway Oaks Drive to Truxel Road as part of the USACE Reach I Contract 2 Project. Replacement poles will be auger drilled and existing streetlights to be removed off site by the Contractor.
