Approval of Permit No. 19936, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To remove existing aerial fiber optic facilities along the landside toe of the levee north of Garden Highway from Gateway Oaks Drive to Truxel Road and replace with underground conduit
and fiber cables and hand holes. To remove and replace a vault (4-ft width, 6-ft length, 8-ft embedment depth) as part of USACE’s Reach I Contract 2 Project at Truxel Road. The vault will be dug with a backhoe with spoils becoming property of the Contractor/Project. New conduit will be placed by open trench and directional bore. Overhead will be placed on SMUD pole (CVFPB Permit No. 17932) from Truxel Road to Northgate Boulevard.
