Document Description
The Santa Rosa Academy New Elementary Classroom Project (PLN25-0003/Project/Proposed Project) proposes the construction and operation of a new two-story, 28,453-square-foot classroom building on a site that was previously planned to be a theater within the existing Santa Rosa Academy campus.
The new building will consist of 17 elementary classrooms, ancillary staff offices, and a central assembly area. The architectural design of the building will be consistent with existing campus structures to ensure visual compatibility. Currently, Santa Rosa Academy has a capacity of 1,720 students and the proposed Project would increase capacity by 312 elementary school students. Implementation of the proposed Project would result in a total enrollment capacity of 2,032 students. For the purpose of the analysis contained in this document, the existing ADA on the campus is 1,252 students and the Project proposes an additional 217 ADA students, thus resulting in a total of 1,471 ADA students.
