Document Description
Caltrans is proposing the improvement of pavement conditions and nonstandard roadway features that contribute to an above average collision rate. Collision rates, within the project limits, are six times greater than statewide collision averages for similar roadways. Caltrans is proposing to place an open graded asphalt concrete (OGAC) overlay, reconstruct structural sections, widen the northbound shoulder, re-stripe lanes, install shoulder backing, and reconstruct metal beam guard railing and terminal ends.
