Document Description
The applicant proposes to replace an existing bridge that crosses the Big Sur River at Big Sur Campground. The old bridge will be removed, the bridge foundation extended, and 10 new pilings driven on south end of the bridge next to the existing concrete abutment. The old wood deck, steel beams and bridge center pier will be lifted out using a crane. At the north end of the bridge, the solid rock will be drilled, and new concrete placed for the north bridge abutment.
