Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0008-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Transportation, District 7, as represented by Paul Caron.
The project is limited to the addition of one HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lane along I-5 in each direction from the I-5/SR-14 Interchange to approximately 0.5 mile south of the Parker Road/I-5 Interchange. Additionally, the project will add and/or extend auxiliary lanes in the I-5 northbound and southbound direction.

The project area consists of approximately 14.6 linear miles (Post Mile R45.0 and R59.6) along the I-5 corridor, extending from approximately the State Route (SR)-14 interchange (southern limit) to the Lake Hughes Road interchange (northern limit).
