Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed and issued Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-RIV-57306-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Riverside County – Flood Control District. The Project is limited to the routine maintenance of the flood control facility south of the Sevilla Tract 32151 Residential Development. Maintenance activities in this area include: removal of sediment/sand/silt, trash, debris, and other obstructions; vegetation management for weeds, grasses, emergent aquatic vegetation, woody and herbaceous vegetation; removal of graffiti; repair of damaged rip-rap and channel; grading and filling to address standing water; and vector control. Equipment for the listed maintenance activities are limited to: hand tools, mowers, excavators, bulldozers, and CDFW-approved herbicide (for vegetation removal).
