Document Description
Basin G43 is currently identified in the Florin-Vineyard Drainage Master Plan
(FVDMP) to be located just south of Gerber Creek, about 0.3 miles west of Bradshaw Road, across four parcels encompassing approximately 8 acres. There are three residences within the Basin G43 area.
The Sacramento County Department of Water Resources (DWR), in conjunction with County Real Estate, is pursuing acquisition of the required land for Basin G43. However, due to the existing residences, DWR is proposing to move the basin further south from the original planned location to avoid compulsory acquisition of the three
existing homes. As such, the modified project is the acquisition of a portion of parcel APN: 121-0050-021-0000 for future construction of Basin G43.
Parcel APN: 121-0050-021-0000 is a "frying pan" shaped parcel, totaling 12.9 acres. The purchase acquisition would be only for the southern portion of the parcel where the basin will be located and does not include the "handle" of the "frying pan".
