Document Description
The proposed project consists of the following entitlements. 1. A Rezone of 13.35 acres from Interim Agricultural Reserve (IR) to Light Industrial (M-1) (Plate AD-2). 2. A Minor Use Permit to allow a caretaker dwelling in the M-1 zoning district. No Design Review required pursuant to Zoning Code section 6.3.2.A.3.b. The project is the rezoning of the 13.35-acre parcel from Interim Agricultural Reserve (IR) to Light Industrial (M-1). There is an existing residence on the project property which will be retained as a caretaker dwelling. Pursuant to Section 3.2.5 Table 3.2 Allowed Accessory Uses table, line AA of the Zoning Code, a caretaker dwelling in the industrial zoning district requires a minor use permit. The project proponent has indicated that there is currently no development proposed as part of the project. Future development or use of the property may require additional environmental review, depending on whether the use, or development, is permitted by right (ministerial action) or requires a discretionary approval
