Document Description
The proposed project includes a request to amend the Village 7 Specific Plan and General Development Plan (SCH # 2005062001), as well as the Village 5 Specific Plan and General Development Plan (SCH # 2014052071). The proposed land use designation changes would increase the number of allocated units within the Village 7 portion of the project site from 570 to 1,205 units. In addition, the proposed project would include amendments to the Village 5 Specific Plan that would increase the number of allocated units within the Village 5 portion of the project site from seven to 30 units. Generally, the proposed project would modify land use designations to allow for higher residential density within the project site. The proposed project would also introduce 41.1 acres of Village Medium-High Density Residential (VMHDR), a new land use designation, to Village 7, which would allow for a greater range of residential densities permitted within such areas (between 6.0 and 18.0 dwelling units per acre [du/ac]). The proposed project would remain consistent with the City of Lincoln General Plan.
In addition, the proposed project includes minor land use modifications to a 49.5-acre portion of the Village 7 Specific Plan area south of Moore Road. The proposed minor modifications would reconfigure the approved residential land uses resulting in a small increase in the total number of units within the 49.5-acre area. (PLN25-00013)
