Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment #2 to Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SAC-35159-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Lennar Homes of California, Inc.
Amendment 2 includes the relocation of storm drain outfalls and pipes in Activity Area 4. The dual 12" outfalls from the water quality basin (Pond #3) proposed in the original Agreement will be combined to a single 24-inch diameter outfall with flared end sections with 100 square feet of rip rap. The new outfall will be relocated 30 feet north from its original proposed location while the new inlet will be located at the northern end of the basin near the "knuckle" of Ivory Peak Way. Approximately 160 linear feet of 24-inch diameter storm drain pipe will be routed around the pond and discharge above the ordinary high-water mark of the drainage to allow stormwater to free flow into the drainage instead of originally going through the pond and outfalling directly into the drainage. The storm water runoff from Jade Valley Court will no longer go to both the drainage and the pond, but will only go directly to the pond via a 15-inch diameter storm drain pipe. Permanent project impact to pond habitat will decrease to 0.04 acre in Activity Area 4.
