Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMSORA-57876-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to City of Anaheim. The Project will widen Orangewood Avenue from a four-lane roadway to six-lanes by incorporating an additional through lane in each direction of travel. To widen the roadway, approximately 30 to 35 feet of additional surface will be constructed along the north side of the existing bridge structure, located over the Santa Ana River. To protect the six (6) pier foundations from catastrophic failure, the Project will reduce scour through retrofitting. Staging will occur within the Project area, outside of the bed, bank, and channel of the stream. Temporary impacts will be restored to pre-project conditions. The City will employ standard Best Management Practices (BMPs) and pollution prevention measures outlined in the submitted notification and conduct reporting as outlined in Measure 3.1
