Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has issued an ITP (No.
2081(b)-2025-008-06), pursuant to Section 2081(b) of the Fish and Game Code to Lennar Homes of California, LLC.
The Project includes the development of a 3.53-acre off-site detention basin designed to provide flood protection for the adjacent Vila Borba Community.
The Project will result in 3.53 acres of permanent impacts to least Bell’s vireo (Vireo bellii pusillus) and Crotch’s bumble bee (Bombus crotchii) habitat. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of least Bell’s vireo and Crotch’s bumble bee, which are designated, respectively, as an endangered species and candidate species under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that
may occur as a result of Project implementation.
