Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMSRIV-58944-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Calimesa.
The Project is limited to a multi-phase development of 3,650 residential units, 4.44 million square feet of business park, 250,000 square feet of commercial, two elementary school sites, open space and public/private parks, utility infrastructure, and roadways. Permanent impacts associated with Roberts Road, including the 98-foot-wide roadway, are associated with fuel modification activities, manufactured slopes, and a 5-foot buffer for long-term maintenance requirements. The Project includes construction of one clearspan bridge (169 feet long by 85 feet wide and approximately 65 feet from the bottom of the streambed) across the tributary to San Timoteo Creek (NWW-5A), known as the B Street Westerly Crossing. The Project will also avoid and preserve 16.2 acres of riparian/riverine resources by placing a deed restriction over these areas.
