Document Description
Develop a camp host site in Ridge campground at Donner Memorial State Park to serve as contact for the public. Existing campsite will be upgraded to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Work will prepare a parking spur with Class 2 road base and pave an area approximately 20'X 30"; trench approximately 12" X 2' X 25 feet in length to install water, sewer, and electrical lines; prepare a 18' X 18' tent pad of level, compacted soil; and install wheelchair accessible path from campsite to adjacent combination building. Project enhances visitor services and provides ADA access. In the event that previously undocumented cultural resources are discovered during project construction (including, but not limited to dark soil containing shellfish, bone, flaked stone, groundstone, or deposits of historic trash), work within the immediate vicinity of the find will be temporarily suspended or diverted until a DPR-qualified cultural resource specialist has evaluated the find and implemented appropriate treatment and disposition of the artifact(s).
