Document Description
The proposed project is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the installation of a microcell telecommunications facility for cellular telephones in the public-right of way. The project will consist of installation of equipment on existing utility pole #899983E standing 38' 10" above grade level in the public-right of way. The project proposes to attach a six-foot arm two 3" diameter by 42" tall whip antennas on the cross arm, install one 20 by 30.8 by 10.4" radio frequency unit 8-feet above grade level on the pole, install one 21" by 39" by 55" equipment cabinet in the public-right-of-way approximately 20 feet from the utility pole, and install two bollards on either side of the cabinet. A utility cable running between the pole and equipment cabinet will be placed underground. A conditonal Use Permit (01-126) for a substantially similar microcell telecommunications facility in this location was filed on June 25, 2001 and was subject to SEATAC review on 09/10/2001.
