Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Otay 2nd Pipeline Steel Replacement Phase 3. The Project includes the replacement of approximately 5,742 linear feet (LF) of the Otay 2nd Pipeline to a 48-inch diameter steel pipeline and approximately 1,116 LF of 8-inch distribution polyvinyl chloride. The Project also includes realigning portions of the pipeline to nearby paved public roads (Willow Street, Alameda Way, Valley Road, and Sweetwater Road), reconnecting the pipeline with the 54-inch reducer south of State Route-54, reconnecting the pipeline with the 48-inch flange at Sweetwater Road just east of Willow Street, and transferring water service connections back to the operating agency.
