Los Angeles Unified School District staff determined that an addendum was necessary since minor changes occurred to the project site after the project was approved. Changes to the project include: an increase in the purchase price of the project from NEW; extend the construction completion date to 1st quarter 2005; purchase the site from NEW and then lease it back to them so NEW can construct the school; purchase the school building from NEW once construction is completed and lease it back for NEW to operate NEW Academy Canoga Park Charter School.
