Document Description
Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0920 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601 for the following project. This project is a temporary repair to the eroding west bank on an unnamed tributary to Saratoga Creek at PM 6.9 on State Route 9 in Santa Clara County. Private landowners at this location have placed rock slope protection RSP) on the east bank of the creek, and this has resulted in altering the creek flow resulting in erosion of the west bank. Approximately 83 cubic feet of material will be excavated on the west bank of the creek using hand tools and a backhoe working from the top of bank including .5 feet of the top bank. All material will be hauled off site. After the excavation 378 square feet of fabric will be placed and then 300 cubic feet of RSP installed over the top of the fabric. All work will be done when the creek is dry.
