Document Description
The project is the selective pruning of small willows, which have grown into the main channel of the north branch of Warden Creek, and are a barrier to the flashy flow of the creek, making it cut into and erode the well vegetated banks. The selective pruning would be done by hand, by the California Conservation Corps Watershed Crew. Work will be performed in approximately 500 linear feet of these waterways. All work would be performed after August 1, 2002, when the seasonal channel is anticipated to be dry. All bebris will be hauled out of the creek by hand pulled into adjacent cropland area to be chipped. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0838 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
