                Document Description

The proposed Master Plan identifies the needed improvements to the water system, alternative sources of future water supply, and the necessary financing mechanisms to construct the needed facilities. To serve current demand, improvements include 32 new groundwater wells, 54 million gallons of capacity in new storage tanks, several thousand feet of pipelines and new imported water connections. Additional groundwater wells, storage tanks, and pipelines would be needed to serve demand from future developments anticipated by 2010 and 2020. These facilities would be located throughout the district's service area, on existing County-owned properties, as well as on public and private properties that would need to be acquired by the District or where easements would be obtained.
