Document Description
The proposed project is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the establishment of a paintball recreation business. Vacant land will be used as the playing field and vehicle parking area. It is estimated that four areas will be designated as playing fields, each approximately one to two acres in size. A maximum of thirty cars are anticipated during business operating hours. Eight-foot netting will be installed to separate playing fields from the parking and spectator areas, and will be installed on the side of the playing fields facing the Golden State Freeway. Playing fields are anticipated to be over 600 feet from the freeway and will not be visible from the freeway. Two portable toilets will be provided on site; no other structures are proposed. The existing dirt access road will be widened to allow for two-way vehicle traffic and will be maintained by the applicant. Hours of operation: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday only. There will be a maximum of eighty persons participating in paintball activities at any given time.
