                Document Description
            
            The project, to be carried out by the City of Turlock, involves the planting of 867 trees throughout the City of Turlock.  It is anticpated that this project will commence in November 2002 and be completed by March 2004 excepting maintenance.  Trees will be native and non-native ornamentals that have been selected for their disease resistance, adaptation to the urban landscape, shade capacity, and minimal litter production.  Trees will be 15 gallon size, and all trees wil be planted, staked and tied, watered and maintained in accordance with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's tree planting guidelines.
