Document Description
This proposed project involves the construction of 221 single-family homes within 300 acres of the Project Area. A pocket park and a single trail will be constructed within the development. Project activities will include vegetation clearing and grading, excavation, trenching and backfilling, pile driving, road construction, repair and resurfacing, tree removal, and fuel modification. Fuel modification activities will extend beyond the limits of grading and will consist of thinning of vegetation and brush clearing. Off-site improvements involve grading and construction of interior roads. The project is expected to result in incidental take of Crotch’s bumble bee, which is designated as a candidate species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
