Document Description
The proposed project would be located in the community of La Costa in the City of Carlsbad. The project would consist of abandoning portions of pipeline in place that are outdated within the La Costa Resort and Spa and constructing a new sewer pipeline from the north side of Alga Road, through the La Costa Resort and Spa to the La Costa Pump station. The new pipeline will tie into portions of the existing pipeline that are not proposed for abandonment. There would be approximately 3,447 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC pipe, 533 linear feet of new 14-inch PVC pipe, 270 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC pipe and 1,546 linear feet of new 16-inch PVC pipe for a total of 5,816 linear feet. As part of the project, a total of approximately 3,400 linear feet of 8-inch and 32 linear feet of 15-inch PVC pipeline would be abandoned in place. Construction of the project would take approximately 2.5 months.
