                Document Description

The operator proposes to install a 15 inch storm drain outfall, in conjunction with the development of 3.44 acres for 12 single family homes, into an unnamed tributary to the north fork of Ward Creek, Hayward, Alameda County. The 15 inch outfall will be placed on the top of the gound and will elbow down to match the existing grade of the creek bank. The pipe will terminate with a "T" energy dissipater and loose rock rip rap. The loose rock rip rap will be keyed in at the toe. The sewer system will incorporate a Stormcepter basin to remove oil, sediment, and other pollutants from entering the creek. Twenty native trees will be planted along the western property boundary, will serve as a visual screen, and will augment the existing riparian canopy. The project is located at 25329 Second Street, Hayward, Alameda County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-1026 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Peter Hellman/ Paramount Homes.
