Document Description
The City of Eureka is planning to carry out a traffic congestion relief project at the intersections of 4th and 5th at "V" Street. These intersections are two of the most highly congested areas in Eureka, and traffic volumes are expected to increase substantially over the next two decades. In order to help alleviate congestion and improve the operational characteristics in this area, Caltrans has recommended that a project be developed to minimize delay on Route 101 at V Street within a reasonable economic and environmental constraints, while not impairing safety.
