Document Description
Metropolitan proposes maintenance of the Etiwanda Pipeline including repair or replacement of three 20-inch butterfly valves at Stations 1+03, repair or replacement of a 12-inch butterfly valve at Station 259+00, repair of the #1 conical plug valve at the Etiwanda Facility, and inspection of the reservoir liner. Minimal water discharge will occur into existing concrete-lined storm drains in order to accommodate the maintenance activities. Maintenance of the Etiwanda Hydroelectric Plant would include maintenance and testing of the hydrogenerator and electrical equipment, trip testing of all permissive devices, electrical testing, inspection and cleaning in the high voltage switchyard, and inspection of carbon seals and bearings.
