The United States Air Force (Air Force) is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) to contact your office for your input and any data that might be related to the proposed location for this new facility. The proposed action would involve construction of a comprehensive facility covering an estimated 1.3 acres along the flight line. The new facility would permit aircraft and aerospace ground equipment to be prepared and repainted in a controlled, all-weather environment. Consisting of two interconnected buildings, the new facility would have a hangar large enough to accommodate a KC-135 aircraft and a support building or section within the new facility containing shops and storage areas.
