Document Description
The acquisition of approximately 15.0 acres of land for the construction and operation of the proposed East Coachella Elementary School ( "Project"). Construction of classroom facilities organized in single-story buildings with covered walkways and fencing. Facilities to be constructed include classrooms for approximately 750 students in kindergarten through six, administration and library buildings, kitchen, outdoor food shelter, multi-purpose auditorium, parking facilities for visitors and staff with approximately 50-60 spaces on site, bus-loading/ drop-off area, and athletic play courts including hardscape and turf playfields and an access road to the site. Lighting includes low level security lighting, signage lighting, and illumination of the surface parking lot and associated pedestrian areas.
