Document Description
The existing project received a water permit (A025187, permit #16973, dated November 1, 1977) for the storage of up to 6.0 acre-feet per annum (AFA) in an on-stream reservoir. The reservoir was constructed to a capacity of 4.5 AF. Water was utilized for irrigation, recreation, stock-watering and fire protection. The property has been sold twice and the reservoir was not expanded to the permitted capacity. The current owner, TimberHill Ranch LLC, submitted a Petition for Extension of Time to develop full and beneficial use of the water authorized under the currrent permit. They intend on expanding the reservoir to its permitted capacity and to use the reservoir for fire protection and aesthetic purposes (non-consumptive uses).
