The Main Library would be expanded in either one of two phases from the present 26,000 square feet (sf) to about 66,000 sf. Depending on funding and priorities, construction would likely be in 2006-07. The Art Center would be expanded in one to three phases from about 29,000 to 56,000 sf. Depending on financing, construction would start in 2004.
