                Document Description
            
            The hotel is designed as four freestanding buildings (A,B,C&D) that form two internal courtyards.  The main courtyard contains the pool and hot tub.  The courtyards are the organizing features of the site plan.  All buildings have been designed to maximize the number of guest rooms with private terraces and balconies overlooking the courtyards.  The buildings have been arranged to maximize the privacy of the surrounding single-family residences.  Hotel and apartment uses are compatible transitional uses between the commercial uses to the west and south and the residential uses to the north and east.  The location of this site will provide easy pedestrian access to all of the benefits of Sonoma's Historic Plaza for the hotel guests and apartment occupants.
