The City of Palo Alto currently operates a landfill that is located at 2380 Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto, California. The facility is currently operating under a permit issued by the Santa Clara Environmental Resources Agency, Department of Environmental Health (SWIS 43-AM-0001; permit issued September 15,1999). The solid waste facility permit allows the facility to accept an average of 200 tons per day of non-hazardous solid waste subject to conditions listed in the permit.
