Document Description
The Proposed Project consists of a special reorganization of the Hollywood area of the City of Los Angeles. It would result in the formation of a new City as a separate municipal entity within a portion of what is now the City of Los Angeles. If LAFCO and the voters approve the proposed Hollywood Special Reorganization, the area subject to the proposed special reorganization would no longer be part of the City of Los Angeles. Currently, proposals for special reorganizations of the San Fernando Valley area and the Harbor area of the City of Los Angeles are also pending before LAFCO. Environmental documentation for each proposal has been prepared.
