Document Description
The Francis Parker project proposes to vacate Plumosa Way and expand and remodel the existing 16,791-square-foot elementary school on an existing 4.86-acre site. The project would require the demolition of the existing north wing of the school, one-and two-story classrooms, and an existing one-story residence. Proposed construction activities would consist of 18,027 square feet of new building space, 4,708 square feet of interior tenant improvements, and a new 33-space parking lot. Overall, the expansion and remodeling would provide for a library, a science and technology building, a cafeteria, and classrooms. There would be no increase in enrollment as a result of this project (a portion of Blocks 19, 20, 21, and 22 of Arnold and Choate's Addition, Map No. 334).
