Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SON-49341-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Level 3 Communications, LLC.
The project is limited to the installation of underground fiber optic cable to connect to existing conduits. The project will utilize horizontal directional drilling (HDD) at the following locations: Work Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. At Work Area 7, the project will attach conduit to the existing bridge over Windsor Creek. HDD staging will also occur at Work Areas 1, 2, 3, and 4.
The project will result in 0.30 acre and 131 linear feet of temporary impacts to stream habitat. No riparian trees will be removed as a result of the project.
