Document Description
The California Department of Corrections will implement long-term repair measuresto stabilize and protect the storm-damaged shoreline at San Quentin State Prison. The repair measures will include the following major components: (1) a shoreline retaining wall approximately 1,245 feet long and 12 to 15 feet tall, (2) a splash wall along the employee parking lot with top of wall elevation at approximately 10 feet, and (3) rip-rap slope protection for the retaining wall toe, the employee parking lot area, and ferry wash protection.
